These people are telling themselves (and others) stories of their own creation, disconnected from any empirical testing of the reality around them. What exactly do you disagree with here? The statement is not very substantive and a bit simplistic, but it's not exactly wrong either. Inequalities are rising, and the system is biased in favor of the owning class. The environment is more often than not forgotten about in lawmaking, which will lead to dire consequences down the line.
