Probably because that’s not most people’s experience. Google is just pages of the same AI generated content. DDG, once good, seems even worse. Searx and the like are slow and results are mixed. Kagi, for me at least, seems to find the actual gems you’re looking for. It feels like Google used to feel back in 05. That’s why people shill it. | ||

You can curate the resutls yourself by telling it to uprank or downrank specific sites. Also, they have an initiative called SlopStop for detecting AI-generated websites. | ||
