It's pretty depressing yet motivating seeing SWE bifurcate. This is an app that would've normally had a dozen or so people behind it, all acquihired by OpenAI to find the people who really drove the project. With AI, it's one person who builds and takes everything. | ||

The new acquihire game is to buy out a few key execs and then have them recruit away the key developers, leaving the former company as a shell for someone else to take over and try to run. Also OpenClaw was not a one-person operation. It had several maintainers working together. | ||
