City of Dearborn unveils Drone as First Responder program for police

I expect to see this growing as local governments will be pressured to lower costs but maintain public safety. I'm not saying this will solve the issues, but I expect to see more and more departments trying this.

		You're way less jaded than me. I give this less than 2yr before being embroiled in a revenue enforcement scandal. There's a TON of stuff you can do from the air that you can't do with a government employee on foot because of that pesky constitution and stuff like fences and locked gates. Being able to just look in any back yard at will without waiting for the annual aerial survey is too lucrative to resist the temptation.
