From what I can piece together from Wikipedia/news that is ~1000-1200 athletes in the most recent 4 year cycle (~600 for Summer Olympics, ~250 for Winter, and ~200-400 for Paralympics). That therefore requires ~$200-250M per 4 year cycle. Granted, that's 20 to 60 years down the line...
