That's all the better for a cause that needs attention. If everyone's to one side then the conversation quickly dies out, while if something is contentious there will be two or more parties keeping it alive. A protest doesn't need to be perfect and it shouldn't convince everyone who sees it in one shot. A protest that causes outrage is much more effective at reaching whoever it needs to reach. | ||
