(This is 90s tech, but it's still Classic Mac.) In the late 80s as a kid I sometimes came across the Swedish version of Macworld. Unlike the US original edition I think they mostly catered to people working in print layout/DTP. They were casually reviewing all kinds of exciting things costing like $10-50k in today's money. Things like flatbad scanners were super expensive. The concept of 24-bit color was strangely exciting, seemingly bordering on alien tech. It was like a different world compared to the kind of home computing HW I was using. Even the magazine was a lot more beautiful than anything else I had seen. | ||
