As someone in networking, it checks out, and I also know the author. Imagine an overworked, underpaid, network engineer. Mistakes happen. This time though, the entire world is hyper fixated on what amounts to an easy to make mistake and now your mistake is in the intel briefs of 50 countries. Oops.
