I think you are missing the point. The font curves/shapes/beziers are not copyrightable. But the source code and resulting font file is (everywhere). Fonts are licensed just like software (or more like software plugins). So you can take any typeface and trace/redraw it just fine. But you can't use the original font files unless you have proper license. | |||||||||||||||||
