There is a large set of patterns deep ingrained/hard-coded in the human brain's neuronal structures. From hormone-metabolic reflexes like hunger, cold and sex (after puberty), to feelings (eg universal recognition of the mother's face), to the future language and speech. This is nothing new and is well studied across many species. Many functions just need the appropriate environmental factor at the right time to be activated. Eg if no light falls on the retina during the first years after birth, the person remains blind for life. | ||
