Meaningful community relationships are good faith relationships. The community is not entitled to anything unless willing to compensate the amount of work a new _thing_ requires. If something is open source, they are also capable of creating PRs themselves if they are missing anything. There's nothing wrong with asking for features, demanding them is where the relationship goes bad. Hell, even maintaining the project shouldn't be demanded without compensation. | ||||||||
