This is a lot like One Laptop Per Child, but more vague. What is it supposed to do? Why have one?

It's not that the system doesn't come with a browser. It's that the browser is apparently built into the operating system. Remember IE 6?

If you're going to rethink computing devices, the next thing is probably a big screen, a camera, and a good microphone array. No keyboard. You just talk to it and occasionally gesture, and it organizes and helps you.
