Hey, I'm Rob - a frontend engineer with over 15 years experience building for the web. While my core competency is frontend and the React ecosystem, I can navigate the full stack confidently and contribute to most any codebase. I've worked on products sitting atop PHP, C#/.NET, Python, Rails and Node.

The bulk of my experience is in startups (B2C, B2B & SaaS), though I am open to any organization that provides a strong culture fit. In my experience, culture and team dynamics far outways what is being built - or the tech that is being used. I am growth oriented and passionate about working collaboratively, cross-functionally, and making a meaningful impact in people's lives with what is built. I'm also unafraid of legacy code or tech debt.

Note: My current role and location is in St Thomas, USVI. After my last startup role, my family and I decided to try something new and see if life in the Virgin Islands could work for us. In short, it did not. My family is already in WA, and I am here finishing up my role as IT Coordinator. I will be joining my family in WA at the end of November.
