Whenever I have a new machine, I do the same steps over and over again: - Installing some packages (like make) - Setting up an ssh key - Cloning some git repositories - Setting up dotfiles - Installing rustup / rust - … Until recently I tried doing all of that with a bunch of bash-scripts, but that turned out to be messy and not a joy to maintain. So now tried a slightly different angle with a rust tool that you can just pull out of the CI, no dependencies, and it will setup everything (for me). |
