Your pithy comment and thinly-veiled insult don't withstand scrutiny before a simple mirror. If Capital does not need humans, then humans do not need Capital; viewed against another mirror, if Capital does not need humans, then where does Capital derive its value from if not the lease of its assets back to humans as a form of wealth extraction from the working class to the asset class? If all humans are asset holders, then where does Capital arise? If all wealth has been extracted from the asset-less into the hands of Capital, then why does Capital need humans? I can keep cutting your particular barb in any way I choose, but the answer remains the same: Capital, while a useful tool in improving society over the past few centuries by migrating away from Feudalism and Monarchy into Capitalism and Democracy, is no longer useful (or even ethical) now that its incentives are diametrically opposed to human prosperity for all except the asset class. |
