Weird, I like my trackpad and scrollwheel set up exactly the opposite of this. It's a pity that MacOS doesn't allow us to "agree to disagree"!

My pet peeve is about the keyboard repeat rate. Even when you find whatever obscure setting is needed to disable "press and hold", the maximum "fastest" repeat rate available in the gui is hopelessly slow.

Yes, you can run 'defaults write -g KeyRepeat -int 1' in the cli to make it one notch faster still, but it's still no quicker than simply mashing the keys repeatedly by hand.

It sounds like a tiny thing, but it turns common tasks like scrolling through a doc by holding the arrow keys into an exercise in frustration and impatience.
