Got to this after perusing Mitchell Hashimoto's writings (https://mitchellh.com/writing) following the recent libghostty-vt discussion (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45347117).

Interestingly enough while looking for HN commentary there was none,so I thought others may also find it interesting :)

		I kinda appreciate it tbh! I had done something similar about having a discussion from systemd to what is the software that has done the most good while still being hated on https://gist.github.com/SerJaimeLannister/36b4cdc7e9bb790929... I hadn't thought of creating an ask hn or smth tho, maybe I should've done that! But I really approve the sentiment that you share in this comment, so thanks!
