I think the parent comment means that Ladybird is fighting to be an additional browser engine in the current ecosystem of “Chromium and a couple of tiny, unimportant competitors.” However, on the subject of the other meaning of “diversity,” and whether or not it is in the business models of either of these projects, I think we have pretty conclusive evidence that actually it is NOT a core value to either of them: Citation for Ladybird: https://hyperborea.org/reviews/software/ladybird-inclusivity...
