I am glad it looks like Waymo is taking safety seriously. If they are getting into fewer crashes (serious or not) that is a good thing. It is worth remembering, imho, that the ability to avoid a crash, whoever is at fault, is an important skill also. I hope they keep working at the self driving and continue getting better with their safety record. I also hope they figure out how to keep the wheels from falling off. How did this happen? Does it happen often (to any class of vehicle)? | ||

Did they sue a major metro to keep their crash data secret? Multiple times? (They sued the DMV) There's something seemingly sinister about how misinformed commenters are on this companys safety record and efforts to hide it. |
