IMO it’s just different. If you want to go into management or anything involving politics, I do think remote isn’t the move. As a fully remote engineering contractor I’ve been building my area of expertise, clients and connections, and so far it’s been alright. It does take work and there’s no one to guide you, but in my experience with ambition it’s doable. |
