Not surprised. I also switched from sway.

After half a year I'm still not as fast as with sway, but getting there. Things that were hacky with sway and macos (external monitor, screen share, Bluetooth, vpn) just work out of the box.

But yeah, it's not as pretty as gnome or macos.
