The returns to real estate are only remotely competitive _after_ leverage. Unlevered returns are extremely pathetic. Also, there's leverage baked into most stocks. Corporations will lever up. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

you are forgetting that ppl have to take lower paying jobs ( or stay unemployed longer) because they are now tied down to that particular location |
