That paper is an in vitro demonstration whereas the OP article seems to imply they tested on actual patients?

Yes, it was tested on patients. @ bfdrummond on Instagram was the first one - he is now almost 100% recovered

		Do we know of other patients? Sometimes drug and medical device companies will gag patients with non-disparagement agreements, while letting the success stories post freely on social media to promote their product/procedure/etc.
