Former German, left before the introduction of the Wegzugsbesteuerung (or maybe I just didn’t know) and I’m excited. Seems fair to tax I realized gains that were made while one was in the country. I’m in favor of wealth taxation so obviously this vibes with me. I hope more countries start tax wealth.

Not sure I understand your comment. You're German but you left Germany before the introduction of the exit wealth tax yet you support it?

		I didn't leave because of it, I was't even aware it existed. Yes, I would love for wealth to be taxed. Especially wealth that didn't come from work but capital.
