Or just make European Commission be directly elected in such system: - candidate needs to be proposed in country - EU wide elections are held, candidates can only gather votes outside of their own country. - Votes are weighted by amount of seats in EU parliament. What we have right now does not work at all, EC has 0 responsibility(towards EU citizens) for their own actions and is basically a magical black box. | ||||||||
