Measuring beta amyloid flow rates with a radioactive marker is very good. That's interesting science even if the whole causative/associated thing still runs, the body clearly processes amyloid differently across sleep and wake times.

yes. When big pharma dropped 10+ billion on antibodies to amyloid, the results were not good due to excess deaths. But good sleep may be the best drug of all for clearance.

And how does one get reliably good sleep, sans medication? Exercise. Which might also help the clearance systems. How couldn't it? All that physical jostling can't hurt. It's a win-win

Gotta be a lot of money flowing to apple, Samsung and garmin who have to spend to get FDA approval and then a revenue stream, into the future. Pharma should invest in technology and lay off some of the risks in shifting health spend.

I agree. But their whole business model is about having the IP rights for small to very large chemical entities, then supplying manufacturing, marketing, regulatory, and distribution expertise.

To get outside this box could threaten their whole business model of supplying rough equivalents of "magic bullets" to fight disease. And it's not just them, it's Wall Street, and it's even people like you and I, who probably own their stock in some fund or another, as part of our retirement savings. Systemic.
