Flat doesn't seem best to you? Next best for me would be a symmetrical bump. But the asymmetrical bump (I think) all iPhones have seems the worst of all alternatives. This results in that bad restaurant table wobble feeling.

The Air and 17 Pro have symmetrical bumps.

		The lenses aren't symmetrical though. These phones are still going to be super wobbly. That said, it looks like the clear case for the air has a plastic ridge to protect the lens and keep the phone from wobbling
