The mistakes you describe are the issues of the AI system controlling the car, not of the cameras themselves. If you were watching the camera feed and teleoperating the vehicle, no way you'd phantom brake at a sudden bit of glare. | ||

Going from cameras to the human model, every morning on my way to work humans suddenly slam their brakes for the sun in their eyes: if you can't see, you can't see. I think it's another good example why cameras are not enough alone. | ||
