Age verification will make porn websites go out of business. And this is likely what the legislators truly wanted. Porn is partially protected by the constitution and it is politically impopular to tell people what they can't do. | ||

The state I live in already has age verification. Any site that is not based in the US - including the most popular one - just ignores it. The other sites can be accessed via a VPN. | ||
