On the hardware side, I wonder if the author has seen the MX Ergo S model. It features a USB-C charger, and they claim it’s 80% quieter. | ||

Logitech held out on moving some of their more niche products to USB-C until they were forced by the EU. I'm sure when the author _started_ their journey they had not released the Ergo S yet, looks like it came out September '24. I also gave up on waiting for the Ergo S and grabbed a Kensington TB550. The name is awful, but the trackball is excellent. | ||

I was thinking the same :) I have an MX Ergo from 2018, I'm not changing. The USB-C change isn't enough for me to change and I don't mind the click while WFH. | ||
