It's definitely a little strange and unruly, but one thing I like is that engineers are actually being snatched and paid highly for their know-how. Most of these founders being poached have expertise in building complex AI models and hired for their engineering know-how and not their marketing or business accumen or even their ideas. I'm just sad I didn't specialize in the field haha. But I love seeing expertise in an engineering domain rewarded. Their "AI start-up" basically acts as their portfolio XD | ||

So literally the same exact thing humans have been doing for millennia, just in this industry now. Welp, at least nothing was learned. |
