Sounds like, “Apple and Amazon will miss AI because they aren’t following the herd mentality and doing what everyone else does.”

They are doing something different and it might fail but I’m glad different large tech companies are trying different strategies.

I for one am a fan of Apple’s local-first approach. If they can get it to work it aligns more with my ideals. If it fails, at least they kept things interesting.
