Haven't even read the new guidelines since I don't use blue sky (because it's crap) but every time I see someone complain about a "lefty safe space" it seems like what they actually mean is the exclusion of trolls, many of whom are associated with the right wing, which should not be confused with excluding the right wing itself.

For instance, intentional misgendering lies within the intersection of right-wing behaviour and trolling. Banning it is often (intentionally) construed as banning right-wing behaviour, when it's actually banning trolling.
