> GPU upgrades seem much more rapid and substantial compared to CPU/RAM. I feel like I’ve been hearing about people selling five-to-ten-year-old GPUs for sometimes as many dollars as they bought them for, for the last five years; and people choosing to stay on 10-series NVIDIA cards (2016) because the similar-cost RTX 30-, 40- or 50-series was actually worse, because they’d been putting the effort and expense into parts of the chips no one actually used. Dunno, I don’t dGPU. |
