Prism leverages Snapdragon X hardware, like Rosetta2 does with the M-series CPUs.

M-series CPUs also leverage micro-ops, like other Aarch64 processors and x86, of course.

I have no idea what your reply is about, I never made such an argument one way or the other.

My point was a kludge effectively purges most of the installed base... thus removing the traditional advantage Microsoft has leveraged over the years. Notably, it additionally undermines any kind of benefits ARM could offer over amd/intel chips.

Microsoft is not Apple, and users that purchase half of what they expected will not end well. The Apple community has already experienced massive shifts in hardware, and naturally deprecates old software in shorter life-cycles.

Maybe the app store will save them... lol =3
