It is a large number of people agreeing on what the political priorities are. > Government actions are supposed to be proposed publicly, accept and consider public comments, and then allow legal arguments about the process and motivations. The Trump people have done all that on the way to where we are right now. It's been quite hard to escape the debate over the last decade or so. It was heated, public and quite interesting to follow. There were at least 3 elections involved (realistically a lot more, the internal mechanisms of the Republican party have been active), and his opponents have been comprehensive in their analysis of his flaws and the issues with his policies. |
