It’s emotionally immature to couple these things together. Would you refuse to board a plane if you knew the pilot attended pro-life protests? Would you go around telling other people in the boarding line this “FYI”?

This is a false equivalence. You don’t choose your pilot. You choose your airline company. If your airline company voiced there views on a certain topic you disagree with, we have the liberty to choose where we put our dollar (or attention).
