| For banking it's fine; I expect to need to prove my identity to my bank, and it's tied to my bank accounts. And I expect a bank to have high security. The vast majority of online services have no good reason to want my ID, nor will they ever get it. |

| Banks already ID you in person (at least the ones with branches). And LinkedIn has been useless for years for most of my family and friends. |
