Reminds me of the Casey Anthony trial where evidence of the "smell of death" was allowed ... with really no science behind what that even means as far as the witnesses were concerned.

As for shaken baby syndrome it's one of those things where it's the accused vs science. How the accused can or even has the resources to refute it ... seems insurmountable.
