I think the reason is that Mozilla used to be a tech-focused company, speaking in a precise technical manner about concrete things in the real world. Gradually the management and C-suite were taken over by people who are completely disconnected from the products and their userbase. They speak in corporate jargon, and their speciality is performative theater and conning people out of their money.
