I misread this with my other comment response, sorry - yes, donate them a tool which anyone can use. That’s kinda the thing with these spaces - they provide the things that are much too expensive to supply for everyone individually. If you stop by with $1500, you can add an amazing tool to an already amazing collection, or you can get like 5 small things for the house. Definitely most efficient to provide it for the library!

Nice, yes I'm such a huge fan of those library-run maker spaces. We need hundreds more imho.
