You need only like 10 meters of concrete to stop any fire. Just build the houses inside.

		I’m suggesting you don’t build them out of chemically treated wood that sparks into a blaze the moment a single ember lands on them. I don’t think that’s a very hard thing to do. I’d send you the blog post I read on the topic, but I can’t find it again :(
