yeah exactly, tiktok is, in some ways, too big too fail. someone is going to want to pay for access to American data. i expect the US arm of the business to be sold to one of the other big tech companies in the near future. | ||

Not only this, Meta will need to fight many governments around the world with its new non-fact checking policy. I bet the EU and other countries will start giving them more fines. Would be nice to see some competition though, that isn't either Tiktok or Instagram. | ||

I don't think the price is worth selling their algorithms. TikTok will leave the US and fight for instagram marketshare all around the world. Meta will regret supporting this move, I think. | ||
