I believe that, in the future, prison labor in the USA will be recognized as one of the largest examples of modern slavery.

On top of that, we could argue that the concept of people depending on the good will of a specific employer/master to be able to survive will also be considered as the capitalist successor to slavery.

Personally I would relate the latter to feudalism, especially as monopolies grow ever imminent within the majority of fields.

Considering that capitalism has consistently led to monopolies since its inception, wouldn't it be reasonable to conclude that monopolies are inherent to the system?
