Confiscation (and punative consequences) of contraband impacting the immediate safety of passengers should be the only result of submission to warrantless searches at an airport.

If there's a warrant (for search or for arrest) then go ahead and execute it at the airport or anywhere else.

		Confiscation would be a good passive response and it would not need a warrant. The added bonus is intel is widened to include the name of the person for record and tab sheet. Plus, future searches would be given warrant due to previous record.
