It does. A lognormal distribution would model that better which gives a nice right tail so maybe it is a useful toy model.

		Isn't that just because there is a practical limit to how bad at chess someone can be? That is to say, making utterly random moves. But there is no limit to how good they can be. So of course the right tail is longer; the left tail is cut off!
