This rings true to me. You can infer (with various degrees of fidelity) a lot about people by their communication patterns: age, gender, education, hobbies, reading habits, news sources, place of origin or residence. And obviously, socialization. This study suggests socialization is a(n inverse) proxy for loneliness, and there's surely some truth to that, but it is not the same thing. |
