Heh. My roommate (in NYC) at the time was involved-enough in this that one of the actual "devices" appeared in our apartment a few weeks later and surreptitiously remained for many years, fully working in its Lite-brite/LED glory. It made for an excellent conversation piece for those that knew, and a weird piece of LED art for those that didn't. Edit: I found pictures!
